Congogirl

Scary bit about hyping the 500 pre-1991 chemical weapons to justify the war. So many people have seen this 'report' if they watch FOX (which I do not), and so few will see the information that debunks this claim.

DivaJood

Can I hold out hope that his own party might be turning against the Decider?

Diane

Yes, but Hagel's scruples stop at Diebold, don't they?

Congogirl, my coworker's husband watches Faux Nooze, so sometimes I'll hear what their line is from her, at which point I have to do quick deep breathing and meditation so as not to flip out of my chair w/ a "Noooo, that's not true!" to the talking point of the day. Anyhoo, she laughed along when another coworker and I were like, "If the madministration had found WMD, does anyone think they'd let that yahoo Santorum make the announcement? Puhleeze." I mean, come on.

DivaJ, seems like the wind's changing to me. The Deciderer is certainly no longer looked at as if he's infallible. God, it just kills me to write stuff like that AS IF it could possibly EVER have been true or thought to be true by ANYONE.

Diane, I knew Hagel had dirty dealings, but he was surprisingly "let's cut the crap" on this point, so I let myself relax for a minute, thinking it was possible for a Repug to avoid Groupthink for a half-nanosecond. I knew I'd be awakened from my dream shortly.
