Two headlines today:
Largest Hummer to Go the Way of the Dodo. Dodo, indeed.
British inventor claims to have made world's most fuel-efficient car. Thank you, smart person!
Why does the UK everyone else have more sense than we do? What is the problem, besides an overdeveloped sense of entitlement? Is it consumer mania? Why so much emphasis on individual consumption, communal need be damned? Are we goons? Does everyone else have more sense? Or is it that everyone else just has less money and less room? Why do we plan our cities so badly? Why do we fetishize militaristic might? Why are we so shallow as to think that some behemoth automobile confers status? That is, why are we so easily played by Madison Avenue? Is it possible we'll get over it, or will we go the way of the Dodo bird, too?

Yes, I love the concept of a petite H3. Escpecially as I drive past gas stations in my Honda Civic Hybrid, getting 50MPG highway, 40MPG city.
