Diane

Being sick isn't altogether bad, unless, of course, you are very sick. I'm in the final stages of my flu, still trying to regain my energy. I regret having missed some work, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world to watch all those movies and hang out with Roxie and Velma.

I hope you are better today.

Diane, it's true, being sick doesn't have to be all that bad -- time at home, peace and quiet, warm beasties afoot, the possibility of catching up on one's reading (well, I'm sure this is a possibility for some). And I realize that the only time in which it is socially acceptable to be a layabout is when one is ill, so I used my layabout time wisely by getting in as much laying about as I possibly could. This was a bad cold, and while it was no picnic, it certainly wasn't the flu. I'm glad to hear that you're on the mend! The flu, now that can suck royally. I hope yours was a manageable one. And I hope Roxie and Velma took good care of you.
