The Fat Lady Sings

Honey - you and I will walk there together! My blog is STILL screwed up - with no sign of fixin' yet! Every time anyone comes to have a look see - it’s as if time had frozen on December 11th. The only way to see recent posts is for the viewer to click on the title bar. Now, just how in hell does Typepad expect me to tell people that, when no new posts can be displayed? Oh - I am so pissed off the steam you see coming from my ears would power a small hospital!

You know - I even took up temporary digs across town! Typepad Refugees - and I'm thinking it just might stay up a while.

There have to be more than 12 of us.

But don't jump to WordPress. I'm not saying don't jump somewhere, but from my experience I'm pretty sure that if you want to manage your own templates/design but don't have a programming background (like me), you'll be sorry if you go with WordPress.

justin

You've lots who can assist with the transition to WP. Let me know if I can help.

I'm sure all of them have their problems from time to time, but I really do like Blogger. There was a time when Blogger's problems were a bit too frequent, but that time is long gone. Also, many of the "problems" people had with Blogger had nothing to do with the software, but with the complaining bloggers' inability to use commone sense. The majority of those "lost" posts were probably not lost at all.

Diane

Addendum to my post: You can manage your own template with Blogger, too.

Phil

Which way will it tip, which way will it tip?

Thanks for reminding me that I ought archive my TypePad-hosted blog at some point before they go kabloom. Or kerplunk.

Anyway, fun to find your blog via Pinky.

michael

just wanted to be another person you could count as a reader of your blog, i love it. i use wordpress on my own blog and its really pretty great, i'd recommend it. i use the version that you install on your own webserver (wordpress.org) cause i'm geeky like that, but i know a few people who host theirs with wordpress (.com) and they love it too, get walking!
