Why?

The $200 billion question:

Mikewhy1_1

Editorial cartoonist Mike Lukovich, who wrote all 2,000 names by hand, comments on yesterday's cartoon:

it was an emotional experience writing the names of the americans who have given their lives for our country.

they and those fighting in iraq today are heroes. i can’t say that for those in our government who mislead (sic) america into this war, without providing our troops proper equipment, or an exit. through their arrogance, they have dishonored our brave fighting men and women.

Lt. general william odom, national securiy director under ronald reagan, has called this, "the greatest strategic disaster in u.s. history."

Sweet Jesus, I hate Donald R*msfeld.

Wow. AWESOME edit, cartoon. (In my dreams, I use the "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" book just enough to draw editorial cartoons. I can thinks up the ideas; I can't thinks up how to draw 'em!)

Furry Friday at the ER place! Come see! :-)

ER, this one really struck me, too. As for ideas v. execution, I feel your pain! I can draw just a little bit but never quite what I can see in my mind. To aid in executing your brilliant ideas, might I suggest this? I think you'll enjoy it! I certainly have.
